Craig Becker

University of Wisconsin-Parkside Assistant Coach / RWC Advisor & Coach 

Craig Becker joined the Parkside wrestling coaching staff during the 2013-14 academic year. 
 
In 2014 Becker was hired by Parkside as the Athletics Facility Manager and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities in the summer of 2015. In August of 2021, he was again promoted to the role of Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Capital Projects.
 
In his time with the Rangers, Craig has mentored and coached 22 All-Americans and six national finalists. He also was instrumental in helping the Rangers finish in third place as a team at the 2018 NCAA Division II Championships. 
 
Becker himself was one of the greatest wrestlers in Parkside Wrestling history. He was a four-time national qualifier, a two-time All-American, and finished his collegiate career with an NCAA title at 149lbs in 2010. During the 2009-10 championship season, Becker was named the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Wrestler of the Year and was selected as the Outstanding Wrestler at the NWCA National Dual Meet Tournament. Becker also was named the Parkside Male Athlete of the Year in 2009-10. He finished his career with a 128-28 record on the mat.
 
Craig resides in Somers, Wisconsin with his wife Lisa. They have 3 boys Brody, Jaxson, and Mack.
